Why Vegan Floggers?Years ago a friend of mine that works as a Pro-Dom mentioned off hand that they wished they had a purple flogger. Having a few tools, some familiarity with what a flogger needed to feel like, I tinkered just for the love of making something. Sourcing materials and adjusting prototypes eventually lead to this product. Made with a flattened tubular strap that falls tightly and feels pleasant, low sting and high thump, the handles are counterbalanced with steel weights so the floggers balance just behind the neck. The shaft (handle) is wrapped in paracord for a secure grip and the butt is tool dipped in a durable rubber coating.Sometime after the first flogger was made, I realized I'd made something that didn't use any leather. As I happen to know a few vegan folks in the BDSM community that don't like having animal skin or fur touching them, Vegan Floggers was born. At this point they've been in use with ProDom's and a few heavy players for over a decade and have gotten positive reviews by both the floggers and those being flogged with them. How to care for the Vegan FloggerDipping the falls in sanitizing fluids has worked well for one of the ProDom's, they've also found that they can wash the falls in hot soapy water (with care not to get the wood/steel handle wet). The falls will need a little haircut occasionally or the tips can be melted if you're mean.Options for ColorThe colors that are standard for falls are: Black, Hot Orange, Hot Yellow, Lime, Purple, Raspberry, Red, and Royal Blue.Complex print/custom colors are availble on a flat strap that has more sting, no guarentee's on how colorfast that product is. (~$35 per custom print/color) For wrapping the handle 550 Paracord is available in a wide selection of colors. Tool Dip can be done in Black (standard) and Blue/Red/Yellow for additional cost.
